I’M DR. TRACI GRANSTON

What do you call an orthopedic surgeon turned keynote speaker who spends her days strategizing about her belief that excellence is for everyone? Unexpected.

Book Me for Speaking

Fearless leaps into the unknown have always come natural to me. But over the years, I’ve realized that’s not the case for everyone. Today, I help leaders navigate challenges, embrace innovation, and push beyond limits—because I’ve been there, and I know what it takes.

For over two decades, I’ve lived at the intersection of high-stakes leadership and calculated risk-taking. From pursuing orthopedic surgery in the 90s when women only made up 1% of the field—compared to a whopping 6.5% today—to shifting into an AI-focused healthtech leadership role where I’m helping define what responsible use in healthcare looks like (and training the machine-learning modules to fit within those limits), I’ve made a career out of going where others don’t.

I speak to business leaders and health care professionals who are navigating challenges I know all too well: overcoming obstacles in high stake situations while balancing relentless ambition. This is possible using my Plan E theory and learning the strategic E-Factors.

Because here’s the truth: success doesn’t happen by playing it safe. That’s why I teach audiences to use my E-Factors to develop razor-sharp strategies to confidently say “Watch Me” while making the next move all while expecting Excellence.

THE WHY BEHIND MY WORK

I believe Excellence is for Everyone. I’ve seen what happens when people let the world define them, and what happens when they don’t.

In healthcare, I have watched people assume they cannot achieve excellence, and I’ve watched organizations stall because they’re unwilling to disrupt the usual playbook.

That’s why I wholeheartedly believe in:

Excellence is for Everyone.

Using my Plan E you can learn to strategize complex problems with confidence. This starts with reframing the challenge as an opportunity and having the tools (my E-Factors) to act decisively.

Engineering your Stress.

Traditionally we are taught that stress is bad, but what if it isn’t. What if stress is energy that can become your superpower?

The “Watch Me” mentality

This isn’t “look at me” this is having the confidence to make bold choices and start expecting excellence.
